The Task & Project Vision

Our client approached us with a outdated kitchen, seeking an updated look. Our vision was to create a modern rustic-style kitchen that would seamlessly blend contemporary and traditional elements. To set the tone for the kitchen without overpowering it, we opted for a Luxury Vinyl Plank floor, which provided a warm and inviting foundation.

We repurposed the pantry area, installing a gas range, vent hood, and pot filler to enhance the kitchen's functionality. To further elevate the space, we introduced custom shaker-style cabinets that not only extended the functional cabinet space by making it wider and taller in some instances but also offered a timeless appeal. These cabinets were painted white, providing a crisp and clean aesthetic.

Black cabinet pulls and faucets were chosen as accents, adding contrast and depth to the space. A beautiful white quartz countertop was used throughout the kitchen, harmoniously tying in the cabinets and floors. To create visual continuity and a subtle texture, we installed a white subway tile backsplash, which perfectly complemented the clean lines of the cabinetry and countertops.

To complete the modern rustic vision, we installed barn-style pendant lighting above the kitchen island, infusing the space with warmth and character. The careful selection of materials, colors, and finishes resulted in a kitchen that effortlessly combined modern and rustic elements, reflecting the client's desire for an updated and inviting space.
