An Open Concept Kitchen
The Task & Project Vision
Our client had recently moved into a new home and was eager to completely transform the kitchen. We set out to maximize the full potential of the space and create an open-concept kitchen with a smart, elegant aesthetic.
To achieve this vision, we removed the bar area, unlocking the room's true potential and allowing for a more expansive layout. We designed and built a large island with generous cabinet storage beneath, thoughtfully incorporating a microwave opening for added convenience. Custom cabinets were constructed and strategically arranged to extend available space while also providing ideal locations for the appliances tailored to this remodel.
The cabinets were painted white, and we selected a refined white quartz with supple, elegant grey veins for the kitchen countertops and backsplash. The island was further enhanced with a waterfall quartz design, adding elements of luxury to the space. We also integrated a modern lighting system, featuring LED Halo lights throughout the kitchen and under-cabinet lighting to illuminate the area.
In addition, the quartz countertop accommodated an open bowl apron sink, and a pot filler was installed nearby for added functionality. To complete the transformation, we constructed a private bar area and a matching bookshelf that echoed the existing cabinet color and design, ensuring a seamless continuity throughout the space.
The thoughtful selection and arrangement of materials, colors, and finishes culminate in a sophisticated and inviting open-concept kitchen that perfectly reflects our client's vision and lifestyle.
