The Task & Project Vision

The client had recently moved into a new home and was receptive to ideas that would elevate their experience in the kitchen. Our design vision centered on optimizing the space both aesthetically and functionally by transforming it into an open-concept kitchen that would seamlessly blend with the adjacent living areas.

For the flooring, we selected a herringbone-style luxury plank floor, which added visual interest and sophistication while unifying the kitchen and connected living room. We observed that the pantry area had limited space, so we reconfigured it to maximize storage capacity and improve functionality.

We constructed a large custom cabinet island, painted in a rich dark brown, which contrasted beautifully with the crisp white cabinets adorning the kitchen walls. For the countertops, we chose quartz, a durable and visually appealing material that excels in even the most demanding kitchens. To maintain design continuity, we extended the same white quartz with striking grey veins to the backsplash, creating a harmonious aesthetic.

We also crafted new custom slab cabinets tailored to the client's needs, featuring elongated vertical designs for extra shelving space and a contemporary touch. To complete the chic style and enhance the ambiance, we installed a modern pendant light that illuminated the space and added an element of visual interest.

By combining thoughtful design choices and high-quality materials, we successfully transformed the kitchen into a stylish, functional, and inviting space that perfectly reflected our client's preferences and lifestyle.
